“Fountain Stage Manager Bakes Delicious Cake Masterpieces
Elna Kordijan’s hobby now a business
Elna Kordijan is not only one of the Fountain Theatre’s favorite stage managers. She is also a very talented baker. After working hard as a stage manager on Fountain rehearsals and performances, Elna then spends many long hours dedicated to designing and creating her own delicious cake masterpieces.
For the Fountain production of The Ballad of Emmett Till, Elna picked up one of the prop design elements from the production and created a cake shaped like a suitcase. It was amazing — and delicious!.

For the current Fountain hit show, Opus, Elna went to work and presented the cast and crew with a special one-of-a-kind cake that looked like — you guessed it — a violin!

Elna’s baking hobby has now turned into a business called El’s Sugar Rush. In addition to her unique custom-made cake creations, Elna also designs and creates cakes for all occasions. Give her a call!”
